I was actually shooting the McDonald's sign in late afternoon light, when I came around the corner and saw this homeless man sleeping under the shadows. For me this image a perfect narrative for today's society. The corporate fast food empires continue to prosper while so many continue to go hungry and without shelter. McDonald's gives back but a shadow of what it takes away.
