I've lived in Sarajevo for the past month. I felt awkward photographing here. With people still rebuilding their lives after the war, my camera seemed intrusive. People noticed me. I was haunted by the graves dotting every hillside, yet struck by the city's vibrancy. Life goes on, even with reminders of horror everywhere you turn. I won't forget my time here. This photograph, taken haphazardly one moonlit night, captured something my others didn't.
