Some people have their hair blowing away in the wind, like most Indian. But I am a Takla / टकला. A baldy.
Though I lack the flair I didn't skip the barbershop.
At Rupees 25 ( ~ 50 ¢ ) you get to relax on an ergonomic seat, have a head and shoulder massage, be traditionally groomed with a scissors and comb dance ( I compensated the lack of sculpt growth with my facial one, to extend the pleasure) and finally a blossomy shower of herbal navratna ( नवरतà¥à¤¨ ), the Ayurvedic "eau de Cologne".
Like the marvelously harmonic "chaotic" traffic, Indian barbershop can be as tight as a corridor. Customers would be walking in and out, fully aware of passing within inches from the barber's elbow of the hand that holds the blade against a client's face or neck.
