This is a picture of my girlfriend and I in Playa Popoyo, Nicaragua. When the surf is small, there is really NOTHING to do...so this picture is a manifestation of that beautiful boredom. We were trying to take timer shots of ourselves jumping, but we failed three times to jump at the right time. So, we decided to try a multiple exposure...we laid the camera on a rock and carefully, without moving the camera, she took one of me and i took one of her, and then, i took one of nothing. When we returned home a few weeks later, and i got this picture back, my mind was completely blown. One try. Three pictures. Zen and the Art of Celluloid Serendipity.
