"Sleeping Beauty" creative portaiture
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.

My daughter Alyssa was resting on her pillow and soon woke. I decided to take a portait of her and using the lines in the pillow case as lead-ins. I also warmed up the photo by using an amber gel. As she was looking away I accenuated her beautiful brown eyes. I love shooting tight because it's a much quicker read. Who says you have to take a portrait of someone sitting on a stool. Those days are gone! I used a Nikon D300s for this photo and a Nikon 17-35 2.8 lens set at 17mm wide open. Michael Asaro photo
