had a sweet thunderstorm last night. the first of many coming in for summer. that cloud is typical of the late southerlies that blow in in the afternoon. this thing just never blew away. it rolled straight over me.
that raddest thing though, was watching the sky erupt as it got closer, sometimes and seeing silhouettes of all the people on the opposite hill, coming out of the club to watch old love mother nature test out her christmas lights.
she goes alright, the old bird, hey...

ehehehe the 'chk chk boom' girl.... i love it dude, that little opening in the rocks, letting us see a bit more of the ocean, the lighting, how the sky looks chaotic and dangerous, yet so smooth and soft at the same time... very good petey...

reminds me of a rather insane storm we had the privilege of getting to know when we passed down under about 12 years ago....30 minutes outside of Sydney harbor...
dark and menacing and draws you into the frame, then zaps you back with an electric jolt from that lightning bolt.
