Trying to outrun sleet
One quickens her feet,
Her pal a bit more slow
Did not want to slip
And break her hip
On the slushy street,
Covered with snow.
The guy doesn't worry
Enough to hurry...
Thru' ice and rain.
Tho' he may be late..
He stands to wait
For the lights
To change in his lane.

Yes, indeed it was snowing, sleeting and raining all at once when I shot this picture on Saturday,.the 13th ...I quickly shot this scene on the passenger side
of the car through the window before our windshield wipers blurred it out completely..I did not have much time to aim and shoot and had to use manual focus in order for my camera to focus through the rain soaked window.
