As the sun dipped near the horizon, I spotted this lovely statue near the main entrance of Paestum’s historical site (near Pompeii), originally founded by the Greeks in the 6th century B.C.
Thank you Maura for the spotlight.

What a lovely sculpture! So beautiful in its antiquity. The late afternoon sun turns it to gold. Beautiful capture, Deb.
