Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

Really nice image here. I like the use of throwing out the background bringing your eye right to the rusty area. Great rule of thirds. I would have just increased contrast on this for more pop. I also see a artifact to the left part of the photo. Make sure your photos are
clean in post-production. Display is half the battle. I'm not trying to be harsh but rather helpful. Excellent photo and great camera skills!. Michael Asaro -
