Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Behold O God our shield. and look upon the face of thine anointed...Psalms 84: 9

Look upon the head
This deer is not a doe
But a buck instead...
How do I know?

You can see he adorns
The start of horns,
His protective shield
To wear in the field...

Do not disappoint me
If ye have bad luck,
When I anoint thee
Dear Mr. Buck!!!

Poetry by me, AJP

I feel a little foolish for identifying this poor deer wrong that I shot pictures of on Sunday...From a distance it looked like a doe when it had its head turned the other way but upon closer inspection I found out I was wrong...Regardless, he is still a handsome deer...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
