As children we are taught to color in the lines, to be as perfect as possible. But there is something beautiful about being perfectly imperfect, and that is what I see when I look at this portrait. This woman has dimensions, layers, all of which is to be celebrated.

I an floored by this image, what beauty and color, it has it all,...as a child in 2nd grade, i was scolded in class, in front of everyone for coloring outside the lines, ..and was nearly sent to the principals office for telling her off...a sign of things to come for me...lol....what a FREAKING gorgeous photograph....
