My daughter received "Chubby Cheeks" when she was 3 years old and in the hospital. From that moment, an eternal friendship was forged and 11 years later she still doesn't sleep without her. She has been resewn, washed numerous times, forgotten once that led to a 5 hour drive back to Vegas and loved more than any bear out there.
I went in on this day to wake my daughter and when she turned over, Chubby "followed" and they ended up with my daughter being the one held. It was one of those moments that leaps into a mother's heart and stays there forever. I quickly, through "mama tears", grabbed my camera and started clicking away. Watching my daugter as she grows into a young woman I have quickly realized that she loves true and she loves hard so Chubby is in for the long haul.
