This Barred Owl was in a tree that was hit by lightning 11 years ago, when he was just a baby. He now promotes the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park at local festivals.

    This owl really looks like he is a thinker and I am so glad that he is getting good care at the Wildlife Park. It makes you wonder if it was living in the wilds and had to fend for itself whether it would still be living. Beautiful creature and image.
