I'm at a loss for words of what to even write here...

At the beginning of this week one of my best friend's families lost their 19 year old sister, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, & friend. The flower is from her funeral. So far there hasn't been one day that I could completely hold in tears thinking about it. To see the family and everyone going through this is completely heartbreaking.
I can't imagine the pain her family is going through, and anything I can imagine wont get anywhere close.
Me, being the kind of person I am, am I always looking for something of meaning to shoot, and generally, fall short. I wanted to do something to represent the feelings everyone is going through, and at least for me, this photo sums it up.
The weather this week has been absolutely gorgeous, and it didn't matter one bit. It will be nearly impossible for anyone to look back on this week and remember the sunshine, and not the rain.
Although, I can believe the sunshine was from Emilie. :)
Your family is always in my prayers, and I love you all.

I think you captured your feelings in this shot. So you did what you set out to do. Keep being a good friend.
