Digitalis purpurea

Beautiful and deadly. Foxgloves are the pharmaceutical source of the heart drug digitalis, which is poisonous in overdose. The poison location: Sap, flowers, seeds, and leaves, with greatest concentration in its vigorous growth shoots.
