Acadia National Park, Maine
I was standing on the edge of a cliff with my camera to my face and my eye in the viewfinder, just waiting for the right wave to hit. I stood there for ten minutes, getting impatient, when all of a sudden in my parpheal vision I see this white blur movement. I instantly knew what it was and the moment I saw that white blur move into my frame...snap.
I was ready. My shutter button was already pressed halfway, and it was a happy accident that I got the seagull in focus.
I never got my wave shot but that is okay. I got something better.
