The Geelong ring road was a long time coming but no matter how many calls made before 2006 wanting details, the phone always seemed to ring out. This photo emphasises the difference between an old driveway running off a main arterial Church Street through West Geelong's suburbia, with a major freeway nearby. Appreciate the simple path for a rare family car for a private sanctuary of a home, steering itself away from a celebrated freeway headed for the horizon, hidden in the lush hills behind Highton.
