Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

Just off of Fairhaven, Washington is a beautiful stretch of ocean and islands. Between sailboats and kayaks on the water, and hikers, painters, and cyclists on land, this paddler had managed to find his own peaceful solitude.

No touchups here, just a very tight aperture and some patience. I may have upped the contrast a bit.

    Thank you, Lynn!
That's the word I think of too...serenity. Especially with the pace of this time of the year, floating a mile from any other human would feel so good right now :)
