Passing Muster

This "soldier" fell out of muster to clean his firearm in as brief and effective way as he could manage.

The expression on his face shows plainly that he was not pleased with the situation and took his reenactment of a British soldier circa 1812 VERY seriously.

Reenactors can be incredibly involved with the roles they adopt, affecting the mannerisms and speech patterns in use during the historic period being portrayed.

This one was reenacting a British invasion of St. Leonard Creek on their way to Washington, D.C. and the burning of the Capitol.
