Spending the day at a friend’s grandparent’s home I was outside snapping pictures of my friend’s younger cousin in the shade. The younger cousin had thrown a fit by not being allowed to play with the children at the neighbor’s home whom also happened to be outside in the pleasant weather. Though it wasn’t mentioned I quickly found out why… the two neighboring children both had pink eye and a general case of neglect. Being ever so polite to let me photograph her, I was saddened by her state. A beautiful child nonetheless I don’t remember her name, but in my mind it is Patience.
