Part of the Project of the Feminine Series
This project involves a group of women photographers on JPG sending items that have personal meaning to each other around the world to be interpreted in an image.
This is Debrah Leonard's apron unworn from the 1940's.
What touched me when I opened it was the wonderful sense of nostalgia from another era..very feminine but also it's amazing delicacy .
I liken it to an heirloom with I hope a sense of gently reverence to the handiwork of women from a past era.
Even the packaging that it arrived in invoked another time and place.
I was so entranced I did a series so bear with me :)
A big namaste to Debrah Leonard for the spotlight...Lol you have all been far too generous this last week!!!
