Photo license: © All rights reserved Juarez, Mexico. When I called my girlfriend to tell her I had arrived at the run start, she was worried about my safety. I told her I was surrounded by 500 bikers. I am in the safest place in all Juarez, for the time being. This is Avenida Tecnologico. The mere fact that the bikers: 1. chose to hold the event and 2. continued the parade portion, is incredibly brave on everyone's part.

The local "protection" detail convoys of the Army and Federal police are routinely fired upon and the soldiers/officers are frequently massacred.
Like I said, brave.

In the "Tell them Juarez is not lost" photo essay.
