This is Stan's. I've never been inside because I'm usually not shooting photographs in the Strip District of Pittsburgh when anything is open. I imagine that the city grew up around this building...or the tornado that hit the city in 1998 dropped it here, having plucked it up from the Land of Oz. There ought to be horses.

I like the sepia tone on this and your description fits it perfectly...It looks very deserted that time of the night and it adds to the mystique ...Kinds of looks like one of the buildings that you might see in the old Gun Smoke series.
