An exhibition of contemporary New Zealand sculpture at The Sculpture Park, Waitakaruru. This old Vauxhall became the home to a thousand hand made 'bugs'. From far away we thought it was a rusty old car, but close up it was such a fascinating object. bugs inside and out. Very creepy!! Put together by sculptor Niko Thomsen. The title Qualis vita, finis ita. ?? Have to google that one! Mmmm "As a man lives, so shall he die" Not sure how this could be attributed to the object. the sculptor's interpretation, so is accepted.
