Growing up a Navy brat, I quickly learned that everything had it's place. Socks had to be paired perfectly. Underwear was folded into tiny squares and put away. My adopted fathers dress whites had to be ironed perfectly. For the military, order is everything. These blue angel pilots have to be perfectly in order or it would be certain death for them and the people that come to watch their shows. I have since learned that the world won't end if my socks are not perfectly folded and lined up in the drawer though. LOL.

Great capture of the Angels, Regenia! I always loved watching them fly and they do have to be perfect. They literally "follow the leader" who cannot make a single mistake or the entire squadron will perish. Wonderful selection for this theme!!!

Actually Patty, one of them leads and one watches his wing, then another watches his wing, and so on and so on. You have to really trust the guy who's wing you are watching.

The West Virginia State Police Academy was a lot like that too! Nice photo of the Blue Angels. A boy I grew up with was a Thunderbird pilot, shot down over N. Viet Nam and spent almost 7 years in a POW camp.

My father took us to the airbase in Lincoln Nebraska years ago to see the angels, I got an autograph from the head guy, and learned a few weeks after that there was an accident nd he did not survive....I was sad for along time...this is a STELLAR shot...in every way...
