A very close up photo of an icicle smaller than your pinky, taken with a macro lens.
I used a blue LED light to create the blue lighting effect (the background streak was an accident). Taken outside during the day (you can see the sunlight reflecting on pieces of the icicle), I used a black sweatshirt as the backdrop, which was held about 12 inches behind the icicle. Shutter speed was at six seconds.
Minor Photoshop: Color correction, contrast.
