Another image for my quest to master light and exposure. I photographed the fluorescent

Well done, Regenia. Looks like someone has burned spots on it with a cigarette.

Thanks so much everyone. Those dark spots are just marks from being so old but it does look like cigarette burns. I liked the texture.

Well first off, it really needs to be viewed in 'Lightbox.' I think I'm more interested in the texture in this image. I hope that's ok too. The light study is a terrific and essential idea for all of us. Are you shooting these at different white balances then desaturating them? I like what you're doing with the borders too. Once again, Regenia, you inspire me. Thanks! R

Thank you Ron. I love the textures in this too. I shot this with the aim of getting perfect exposure Ron and then added a texture and a sephia action in PS. I used the burn tool on the edges. You can make textures with those there but they tend to loose impact when adjusting the opacity. I never change my white balance in camera. I just adjust the color temp in post processing.

I would really love to hang out with you and learn some of your technique. Thanks for the mini-lesson. I'll try some of that. R
