We've had unusually cold weather here in the panhandle and there is a heater on the wall just across from Dottie's face. The dogs had a nice, puffy sleeping bag and a blanket below her, basking in the heat, but smartypants Dottie knows heat rises.

That girl is smart!

Typical cat behavior to find a warm spot. My cat spreads every inch of her body across my heat register plastic deflectors. She also sleeps under the covers with me and Snowelle can also cover herself up by nudging her nose under any blanket or comforter.

Beautiful cat also. My cat Snowelle also has long hair but is always cold. She even loves my hairdryer. Takes me longer to dry my hair when she begs me to warm her fur!

My old cat "Thing" used to bat at the pilot light on the stove all the time. She'd singe the fur on her paws like you wouldn't believe but she'd still keep doing it...
