In the town of Crystal River, Florida, hidden in a densely wooded area off the Crystal River is a large area made up of 3 springs. This is the manmade entryway to the springs from the river. It can only be entered by snorkelers and kayakers. These lucky people interact with the manatees who seek the warmth of the springs during the cold days and nights of Winter. The springs remain 72 degrees all year round. The manatees visit from about October until the end of March.
In the The Preservation of Three Sisters Spring photo essay.

This looks very inviting, I can see why the manatees love it here. It is wonderful to see it preserved by the people who know it and care about it!!
