If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

What more can I say, I could make up a lot of stories about this one. I see a lot of symbols here and it could go in many directions, but it does look rather mysterious and spooky, doesn't it?
I shot this from across the parking lot at Kansas City's Union Station. For some reason the parking attendant was dressed like a monk and his customer reminds me of Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer. I'm not sure if the figures "lurking" in the shadows were travelers waiting for a ride, or vagabonds who found a place to rest. I like the "half moon" effect of the light under the stairs shining through the little round window.
