Q: How do I buy more Spotlights? I'm new to the site, and I've actually already bought some, but I've forgotten how to do it!

A: Do you know?

Recently I've become fascinated by outdoor steps / staircases... they're an invention which have played second fiddle to the wheel since the dawn of time, but personally I think they're more significant.

Steps have allowed man to safely ascend or descend slopes, and make greater use of their environment, since prehistoric times.

They're one of the earliest examples of the human race shaping the world around them to fit their needs, and many examples of this have stood the test of time.

In this shot, a slope would have worked just as well as a set of steps, but they were constructed to make life easier for people; a simple thing to many, but one that probably has great significance for those who use them on a daily basis.

Taken in Aldeburgh, a coastal town in Suffolk, looking out to sea.
