James River - Richmond, VA 2011
I kept looking at this photo to see why it was not clear and crisp. TaDA, it turns out there was something sticky on my lens. It was all over the front, so as this may look like I did some tweaking to have it appear as it does, it was a mistake. But a mistake that I actually like, kinda gives it the appearance of a painting - I notice it mostly when you look at the geese.

Years ago a technique was used where a photographer would smear Vasoline on the lens to create blur.
