Exploring the furthest edges of Omaha Nebraska's Prospect Hill Cemetery, I searched for the ever present 'dump' section of the cemetery, they all have one.
After a while I finally found an overgrown trail and followed it down to a stream and that is where I discovered a plethora of broken and discarded grave markers and cement chunks of all sizes and shapes.
I wonder what has happened to those whos grave markers are discarded?, What has happened to Darlene?, and where is Harley? I hope that one day soon they will be together again.

Goodness, Steven, I don't think I have ever seen a cemetery dump before. But, cemetery lawn mowers wreak havoc with tombstones, and I suspect that Darlene and Harvey have a new one. Very thought-provoking shot!

A humble reminder that stone does break but the love two have for each other is not separated by death, nor stone but rather time. Neither tragic nor heroic. Quiet. Thank you for sharing this

That neither stone nor death separates two people who love each other but it is time that keeps them from being together again and that will happen in in it's own way when it is supposed to. A solemn reminder that stones break but their love is eternal and that is asomething that cannot be changed
