This photograph of Sidd the Travelin Buddha was not unique in any way, unusable as the image was too dark and his features nondescript. So, thanks to iphoto and a good deal of tweaking I came up with somewhat of a unique image resembling the shape of an eye as if one is looking outward from he inside.

Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world, it is appeased by love. This is an eternal law.

What this means for us today is quite clear, you can not ever appease or cure hatred by hatred, you can however appease or cure it by love, or at least make an effort, and that is all one can do. Show the hater love, show the discompassionate one compassion, show the intolerant one tolerance.

Buddha, Jesus, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, they all say the same thing. they were all Buddhas, as are each one of us, wether we understand or acknowledge it or not, we all, each and every one of us has this nature, different cultures and beliefs say the same thing in different ways. Let us all strive for tolerance and understanding, extend a hand towards those who are suffering from the negative forces that abound at every turn.
