...Can the leopard change his spots? ....Let him that is on the housetop not go into the house, neither enter therein to take anything out of the house...
Jeremiah 13:23~Mark 13:15

Will a leopard
Change his 'spot'?
I would think not
If he is barred
From living inside.
Most likely he'll hide,
In the snow so deep
When he is not asleep
On the rooftop:)
Poetry by me, AJP

This creation in the snowbank, I almost missed entirely today as the wind has blown away a lot of the formations that appeared from our cold weather this winter...I just started to notice them a few days ago and wish I had been more observant and had been taking pictures all along...

This one I had to work with in photo shop to bring out the contrast of the "house" that caught my eye...I saw the outline of it outside in the snowbank and had to darken it in photo shop to give it contrast from the background...When I worked with it in photo shop the "spotted creature" lying on top of the snowy rooftop became more evident to my eyes..

I hope I have not bored you with this series...Winter will be over one of these days and so will the snow bank formations:) This has been a bitterly cold winter and I have had to really hunt to find the beauty in the snow drifts. Who knows, maybe I'll become "a frozen thing" in the snowbank from my ventures:)

Thank you so much Deborah Downs for nominating this to be voted on for photo of the week. I am so impressed by her work and the stories that she writes...Please visit her fantastic site..
