Bruised.
The image is supposed to represent bruises of the past... how though we may appear fine on the outside some of us wear bruises on the inside. Just because we don't see them doesn't mean they are not there.

i agree.
the people that say "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" lied. i know that broken bones heal and bruises heal, but words can stick with you forever.
