This is an Indigenous fish of India. We call it a type of "catfish" because it has got two pairs of barbules at both the sides of the snout! It grows very big ... may be up to 15 kg. But this is a macro shot of a juvenile fish....

Handsome!! We have millions of those in the southeastern USA. Near our town, the blue herons stand on the shore and wait for a catfish meal, especially near dams.
