Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

It may not be a pretty picture of nature but I feel I could identify with these leaves. Taken during one of my daily morning walks. They’re ubiquitous. Yet no one seems to notice.
At face value, the tree appeared to have let go of its leaves… as though they will never be part of the cycle anymore but mere end of it. Yet, they will become loam for the ground and will nourish the soil which in turn will grow new things and the cycle goes on.
