.He casteth forth his ice like morsels; Who can stand before His cold? He sendeth out his word and melted them; He causeth His wind to blow and the waters flow Psalms 147:17-18

God's hands have felt
And molded earth's art...
With the greatest of ease..
His love for nature
Can also cast ice morsels
That firmly freeze...
But before they melt,
It may show human mortals
A cherub with heart...

Poetry by me AJP

It was minus 2 degrees today and it was interesting and heart warming to see this icicle formation on a branch not too far from our bird feeder...

It may not be the typical formations that I have been seeing in snowbanks but it is a formation nevertheless and to me it looks like a cherub with a heart inside of the icicle, and a dove above its head. I hope you can see it too...

Thank you to my dear friend Ann Reece for nominating this picture to be voted on for photo of the week...Please check out her wonderful site.
