I wouldn't take the world for this letter my Dad wrote me shortly before he died in 2006. He was the finest gentleman, Christian, and father anyone could have had. It wasn't about money, status, or possessions.....he was sent here for far more important things than that. No one could ever tell the many good deeds he did, or the help he provided for anyone who needed it. He was a true disciple. My father was a saint! He loved us beyond description. In his job as a federal correctional officer, he spent untold hours on his own time counseling depressed inmates and holding a weekly bible study for them. If anyone in the community needed food, clothing, transportation, or a friendly word, my Dad was always at their door. In this letter he was reminiscing about my childhood days. He wanted me to remember too. I would never lose track of this last letter from Daddy.
