A few months back I saw a story here on JPG on the falls when the water was diverted to look at the American Side and see if it could be saved. I knew that I had a picture or two I had taken way back then in my earliest days of picture taking.Been looking ever since and finally found one! I took this with an old (it was new then) Kodak Brownie 120,,,,The negative has long since vanished. It was an amazing site that my father insisted we go see. We lived in Rochester NY so it was only an hour drive. Now all these years later I am sure glad he did that. And it's a good reminder of why we must sometimes force our children and grandchildren to do and see things they do not want to, because they do not understand the impact at the time of those historical moments,,, 1969 was a year for historic events, The falls dried up and men were on the Moon.

An historic moment, Thomas. Fascinating, considering the raw power of water when the Falls is (are) flowing....
