Sidd is not hot, he just is.
It is ill, perhaps with the doer of good until the good deed ripens.
But when it bears fruit, then the happy results are seen.
Words from the Dhammapada (Words of Wisdom) #119
What this tells us is that as things are more often than not 'ill' or negative when the good deed is issued is all prevalent, sometimes it takes multiple 'good deeds' as well as thought and direction for the fruit is bore. The happy results are sometimes a long time coming and can require great patience.
But as all things are impermanent, so are all of the 'ill' around us.
Endeavoring to good thoughts and actions as well as intentions from which said good thoughts and actions originate and are born require condition over time.
A good rule of thumb so to speak, it to treat others like you would like to be treated.
Good common knowledge available to all.
Photograph taken in Page Springs Arizona between Jerome and Sedona October 2010.
