I captured this shot of a Blue Heron just has he took off from the shore of the Tennessee River at Chattanooga. Herons wait hours for a fish meal near the Chickamauga Dam in the T.V.A. system.

Lightening here is really cool... bottom of wings so dark, yet his head and neck are illuminated. Great capture.

The wings are natural! I just happened to get the light at the exact angle (by sheer luck).
