Sugarloaf Mountain, Maryland on 20 February 2011. Sugarloaf Mountain is a monadnock, an isolated hill that sits on a surrounding flat plain. There are loads of rocks festooned with lichens of various types, which contrast nicely with the earth tones of the rocks.
