Thine eye shall see the king in his beauty: ...Isaiah 33:17
---------------------
The brave cardinal
Ruffles its feathers
When it is cold,
And tries not to worry
Tho' we are in a hurry
For warmer weather
To arrive in spring...
Perhaps birds
Of the wild
See an angel child,
Thru' the rule of thirds
To give them courage
In the visage
Of the king...
Poetry by me AJP

Hope you detect what I see, besides the cardinal. I spotted it as soon as I uploaded the picture....I deepened the contrast so that it would be easier for you to also see...We weatherize our old windows with plastic in the winter to prevent drafts and most likely this caused the image to distort in an optical illusion when I shot this picture through the window...It warmed my heart even though it was bitterly cold and overcast.
Thanks to Heather (JanElle) for the spotlight that she gave me and please
visit her fantastic site.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing the face of a child or an inquisitive kitty, but I definitely see a face. What an amazing capture!

What a glorious cardinal! I love the touch of abstract with the reflected face, which adds a totally unexpected element to this image.. Fantastic capture!!

It reminds me of "His Eye is on the Sparrow"..;.I guess "cardinal" would work just as well. A wonderful capture, Andrea!

Wow! This sure grabbed my attention, Andrea. First I saw a ghostly image of a kitty and then that of a child. Whatever it is, I so love this image.
