My boyfriend, George, found these binoculars in an antique shop back when we first started dating. We were going on a whale watch that afternoon, but I had to photograph a wedding first thing in the morning. George drove me to the wedding's location and found these while I was shooting. They're a perfect example of how he goes above and beyond to make me happy - not only did he drive far out of his way to take me to work, but he surprised me with an amazing treasure. They remind me of Boston summers and the beauty of falling in love. We now keep them prominently displayed on a shelf in our Los Angeles apartment.
