A nuthatch flew to a limb o'er me
Upon the flowering crab tree.
As I stood neath' him on the ground..
Collecting my thoughts
To catch some shots...
He is respected within his kingdom,
Wearing his black nape
And royal crown..
This bird is not dumb...
For he has wings to fly
If he needs to escape..
He understands being high,
Is not always climbing a ladder...
It means swearing allegiance
To coping with circumstance
What e'er the matter.
