I am saddened by the devastating events that have happened and are still happening in Japan. I have many family members there, but I am thankful they are fine. The Japanese people are very strong minded and very spiritual people and I have no doubt in my mind that they will pull together and strive to move forward. I pray they have relief soon, safety, and somewhere to lay their heads at night, food to eat, clean water to drink, and a better tomorrow. My heart goes out to you.

i share your heart felt hope for such and honorable people, i work many hours through the day, and when i come home, i go to the garage, and watch the news to see what has happened in the last 13 hours.
i stand in the garage, and watch the news, and hope that it will be better for these folks.
my thoughts and prayers are with them. -

A lovely photo tribute, Carol. I am so thankful that your family members are safe! I think what stood out for me, during this incredible tragedy, was the quiet stoicism of the people as they stood in those long lines waiting for food, gas, etc. Unlike people in the US, there was no rioting, no looting, just acceptance of what must be. What a wonderful quality!!
