When I first heard the term "Rule of Thirds" 20 years ago it definitely re focused my eye. It felt good to have some semi formal photography training. Later, I examined work I had done earlier as a young boy. The findings indicated that I already knew the rule yet could not speak of it. Maybe Sergio Leone taught me while I watched his epic westerns. Or, maybe I picked it up looking into my first girlfriend Christie's eyes and face.
Credit for a teacher could be elusive, maybe I came with the information, and now I get reminded again, thanks Jpeg.
