I just had to return to the Dallas dance studio where my granddaughters take lessons. This time I wanted to capture images of Ashlyn (5), my youngest granddaughter, and her partner and friend, Mateo, in action and interacting with their excellent teacher, Rebecca. I captured this shot through the screened viewing window with reflections of doorways and an outside tree. What you’re seeing is the reflection in the mirrored wall of the studio. It wasn’t until later I realized I also snapped a mirrored image of Sasha, my oldest granddaughter, peeking through the window of the studio’s door. As far as the processing, I had fun experimenting with the pencil sketch feature of Picnik and then added some of the original colors.

Wow! I love the interplay of these 4 people. Particularly that face peering through the glass. The grain is a nice textural touch.
